20 hour residential car licence to C+E (artic) - £2464

Our 20 hour Special residential C+E (HGV1) courses are available to anyone that holds a full UK Car licence.

Our staff take care of booking your LGV medical and theory tests. These are done locally to where you live before you arrive for the practical training and tests. Our staff are available every day to help with any questions you might have.

The practical training is at our location in Chelmsford and spread over 3 consecutive days. These can be done at weekend or during the week.

Because these courses are residential we provide 3 nights hotel accommodation at our local Premier Inn and even include all you can eat breakfast to start each day just perfectly. Our training centre is located within the grounds of the hotel so it could not be more convenient.

Day 1 - Reversing & Uncoupling

The reversing and trailer coupling manoeuvres have been removed from the main driving test and made into a separate stand alone test called the Mod3a test.

You will be taken to our DVSA approved reversing area where you will spend the day learning the skills needed to pass this test.

In the afternoon you will take the reversing / trailer coupling test as well as taking the CPC Mod 4 test

Day 2 - Driver training day

You will spend the entire day learning the skills needed to pass the LGV driving test. All our trainers have many years experience training new and often nervous candidates. We even have an ex DVSA LGV examiner in house to talk you through any details of the test.

We will do most of the training in the same area you will be taking the test so that you feel familiar with the area.

Day 3 - Driving test day

This is the driving test day. Tests are usually booked for the afternoon, giving plenty of additional time to brush up on the skills needed to be successful. During the day your instructor will conduct a full blown mock test. This is important so that you know exactly how the test will feel later in that day.

After the test you will make your way home feeling very pleased with yourself and ready to start your new career as an LGV driver.

How this Package works

When you book the course we take your details and you pay the 10% deposit
We book your medical and send you the necessary forms. After the medical you send these forms to the DVLA
At the time of booking we will also book your theory test as well as your practical training dates. We will also book the hotel room. Everything you will need is arranged by us at the time of booking.
You will arrive at our location the day before the training starts so that you can relax for the evening before the hard work starts.
